Time Lapse II Alex McIntyre

‘Time Lapse II’ by Alex McIntyre

Time Lapse I and II are studies from a series produced in association with Soul Sister (a musical theatre production), following a research residency that Alex held with the company in March 2012.  Alex spent 9 days drawing the performers as they devised and rehearsed for Soul Sister.  She then worked on a solo exhibition of drawings, ‘Eloquent Noise’ which toured with the production in the autumn, sponsored by Digswell Arts Trust.

Throughout the history of Hertford the waterways and rivers have played an important part in its development and at the same time, constriction of its growth. This video explores this site, its significance, abandonment and dereliction.
