In January 2026, Katy started a residency project in collaboration with The Harpenden Collective. THC is a contemporary co-working space offering opportunities to collaborate, connect and learn through events and expert-led workshops. THC is located at Red Gables in Harpenden, a beautiful Arts & Crafts style building dating from 1906 and is former home to artist Frank O’Salisbury (1874 – 1962).

Katy wants to tell a story, at The Collective, about making art from inspiration to exhibition. She will also facilitate art workshops focusing on some of the processes used in her own practice. Between now and September, she’ll be working at Red Gables, and at The Forge to create work inspired by the rich history of the building as well as the vibrancy of the co-working experience.
