Allistair Covell’s painting ‘Flora’s Secret’ will go on show in two London exhibitions

Floras SecretFarmhouse artist Allistair Covell will be exhibiting his painting ‘Flora’s Secret’ as part of two special group exhibitions in London during the months of July and September 2015. The exhibition in September will coincide with the London Design Festival 2015, the annual event that celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world.

Allistair’s painting is featuring in FX Magazine’s Drawing Competition 2015 exhibition and will be on display alongside leading designers and artists from across the creative industry. The competition and exhibition, in association with Ecophon, celebrates the visual talent within the design industry for drawing.

FX Magazine has for more than 20 years been the essential magazine for the contract interior design industry, bringing its readers the best new products and projects from around the world as well as in-depth reporting on the latest trends and interviews with leading designers.

‘Flora’s Secret’ is an ink and acrylic painting that Allistair created whilst studying Fashion and Textile Design at university. A stylised interpretation of still life flowers, the painting is part of a series and became the main inspiration behind his Spring / Summer 2010 textile print collection.
