Katharine Green – Our 2 Lino print days this Autumn will be led by Guest Fine Artist Katharine Green whose work has previously been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition as well as being published as a group of Fine Art greeting cards with ‘Green Pebble’. Katharine originally studied Illustration at Portsmouth University “After graduating I worked in interiors and soft furnishings but after a few years my desire to return to creating and designing artwork won over. In 2013 I was lucky enough to have one of my watercolours hung at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. The exhibition really inspired me, especially the print room. As a result I have taken up Linocuts again. Over the last couple of years I have developed a style using both my love of watercolours and my growing interest in printmaking” http://www.greenpebble.co.uk/katharine-green-printmaker

Testimonials;
“Just a note to thank you for the workshop on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it and valued being able to see and try out the range of equipment available. I am now going to get myself some oil-based inks and paper from either Intaglio or the place that you mentioned in Knebworth, and will then be in contact to try to arrange a date to come over and do some printing”. I have thoroughly enjoyed both my workshops so far and I am looking forward to the Lino Print & Dry Point Etching. It is great to learn new techniques and very exciting to see the results after turning the big wheel on the press. Good value especially if you book all four workshops. Valerie 09.10.14
