Connie Flynn

Connie-FlynnFellowship: August 2004 – October 2005 Farmhouse

Artform: Textiles / Glass

Inspiration for my work is taken from my interest in natural forms and cross cultural diversity. I have travelled widely, passionate about using these experiences to explore cultural differences through the creative process. Collecting, researching and developing concepts to use in my work. My focus is colour, texture and pattern. I feel Art is a universal language.

Connie has exhibited in the UK and abroad. She specialises in Textiles and Glass. She is fascinated by the felting technique, both 2D and 3D. Connie has also worked intensively with community groups and on community Arts projects. She has much experience of working with all ages and abilities in a variety of formal and informal settings.
