Connie recorded her findings of quotes and stories in her sketch book, this progressed into constructing textile wall hangings, each one decorated with hand stitched techniques to represent these tales.

In April this year, Finders Keepers – Tales in Textiles! was exhibited in Shetland Museum. It is now touring and will be shown at Rayleigh Windmill, Essex, Sept 11th – 2nd Oct 2016. All Welcome!

Please note the opening times, Wed 10-1pm and Sat & Sun 1 -4pm.

Death Dreams & Desire

Death Dreams & Desire

We are a collective of five working artists who meet regularly to share and discuss the progress of our work. Through doing so we have identified a number of common themes; memory, loss, re-emergence and return. These are expressed by each of us through a variety of concepts and techniques. Our practices include drawing, painting and printmaking; sculpture; photography and film;
documentation, installation and live art.
