Due to popular demand; an additional Print Workshop date for the Summer 

Digswell Artist Sally Tyrie is putting on an additional Printmaking workshop date on the 15th August due to a high demand for bookings.
This day will cover Multilayered Monoprint techniques combined with Drypoint processes of ‘drawing into the plate’ to create exciting, expressive Prints.

During the day students will have the opportunity to explore more ‘painterly’ mono print methods as well as ways to create layered prints. The opportunity to combine this with ‘Dry poInt’ methods will also enable students to explore ways of adding more controlled and detailed marks to the final print.

Fees include all materials, including artist quality printmaking paper and Oil based inks plus tea and biscuits
times;  10.30 – 4pm

These courses are taught by Print Member Sally Tyrie who has been based at the studios since 2009.  Sally has a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University and an MA in Fine Art with Distinction from the University of Hertfordshire. An experienced Art teacher, Sally has worked part time in Schools and Colleges for over 20 years and has a PGCE in Art Education. Courses often feature unique processes she uses in her own work.

I have thoroughly enjoyed both my workshops so far and I am looking forward to the Lino Print & Dry Point Etching.
