Artist Call: EXPERIMONTHLY
‘Experimonthly’ at the Project Space is dedicated to experimentation and providing the opportunity for artists to push their practices further. Rather than simply having another gallery show, we believe that by creating a programme specifically for experimentation will act as a catalyst for artists to take chances and to gain reactions from an audience. We don’t want to play it safe, we want to uncover new things and to see what happens when artists are pushing themselves. Following the inaugural ‘Experimonthly’ at the Digswell Project Space at Fenners in August, all current Digswell Fellows and Alumni are invited to apply to use the Project Space. We encourage artists to be bold with solo projects and are interested in cross-disciplinary collaborations taking place in the space too. Alternatively, we welcome Fellows and curators to contact us to discuss exhibition ideas that are still in the planning stages. Digswell Arts will assist artists and curators to seek funding and sponsorship and we help provide advice and letters of support. Use of the project space is free and it will be available on a monthly basis for a set period of 6 days.

A completed form with no ARTWORK SUBMISSION to support your application will not be considered.
Please email projectspace@digswellarts.org with any questions you may have , subject line Experimonthly. Applications will be assessed by DIGSWELL ARTS and we will provide a response as to whether your application was successful as soon as possible.

All artwork is to be marked with artist name(s), title, date, medium, size as per below. Please note that material provided will not be returned. If your proposal contains both still and moving images please restrict it to 6 images and 6 minutes of sound/video. As noted above, please do not send original material or slides. Please note that all submitted images may be used for promoting the project (if successful).
