Digswell Arts fellow Fiona Chaney has been selected to exhibit at the 168th Annual open exhibition at the RWA. Fiona was selected from a record number of submissions, with 3566 works by 1833 artists being considered.

Originating in the nineteenth century, a group of local artists formed the Bristol Society of Artists. By the middle of the nineteenth century the Bristol Academy had been formed and brought the Bristol Society of Artists under its wing. Since its inception the RWA has been working to encourage different ways to participate and be inspired by art.
