Written by Caryl Beach

On August 18, 2016

Sunflower-1Katharine Green – Our 2 Lino print days this Autumn will be led by Guest Fine Artist Katharine Green whose work has previously been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition as well as being published as a group of Fine Art greeting cards with ‘Green Pebble’. Katharine originally studied Illustration at Portsmouth University “After graduating I worked in interiors and soft furnishings but after a few years my desire to return to creating and designing artwork won over. In 2013 I was lucky enough to have one of my watercolours hung at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. The exhibition really inspired me, especially the print room. As a result I have taken up Linocuts again. Over the last couple of years I have developed a style using both my love of watercolours and my growing interest in printmaking”   http://www.greenpebble.co.uk/katharine-green-printmaker
