helen1Helen Mason, Fenners Exhibition September 4th – 10th 2014. 11.00 –5.00  Helen’s first year as a fellow of the Digswell Arts Trust has given her the opportunity to revisit some old ideas and obsessions and move forward in developing her style and methods of working. In doing this she is challenging her skills and ideas to make a personal response to what she sees. Layers of observation, paint and textures create a texture and atmospheric portrayal of everyday objects and events.
Between Here and There charts Helen’s changing work, and also reflects how we are caught between different places, feelings of isolation and atmosphere surrounding simple objects.”
