I make performative sculptures; these works take up space or behave in a way that entices audiences to interact with them. The physical relationship with each visitor completes the work, they perform and become more aware of their own body in relation to others. I am interested in the experience of vulnerability, the possibility it gives for healing and the tension between giving up and keeping control. This is why I explore human touch and its relationship with cognitive and bodily memory.
