Calling all Textile enthusiasts & Weavers…

New group – ‘Textile enthusiasts & Weavers interest group’

This is a new community group based at The Fenners building, Letchworth. I’m a Textile designer and fellow of Digswell Arts and would like to start a new monthly meet up for Textile enthusiasts in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & surrounding areas, where you are welcome to bring your own projects to work on or join in with a Textile related themed activity/taster workshop such as weaving, knitting, embroidery, or Stitch…all equipment & materials provided for you to turn up & enjoy. There will also be coffee/cake! Included in the £4 entry fee. You will also need to be a member of LALG after the first meeting.

Find us at: Digswell Arts, The Fenners building, 7 Openshaw Way, just off the Wynd, behind the new Premier inn.
Free parking is available on site.

On Tuesday December the 5th, from 7-9pm I will be hosting an introductory session where you can take part in Festive themed textile crafts whilst enjoying mulled wine and a cheese board – Please join us so we can find out what interest there is and hopefully plan a regular monthly group to start in the new year.
