Nicole Richardson

Nicole Richardson designs and creates contemporary childrenswear, drawing inspiration from her childhood.

Specialising in knitwear, she creates both, designs using pattern where the colour is the link to the past  and garments with imagery developed from the paintings that she produces.

She delights in expressing the wonder of childhood in her work. Up until recently this has predominantly been through painting but since having her children, she has been working on a collaboration between the paintings she produces and the knitwear she has always made for her sons.
