Sue Pilborough, a fellow at Fenners, has had her first submission of three 3D pieces accepted to be shown at the Open Exhibition at the New Maynard Gallery in WGC.
Open 11th October – 22nd November
Private view 10th October 8 – 9.30pm
At first, Sue Pilborough acquired a Foundation Degree in Fine Arts at the prominent, Dunstable College, and also a Foundation Diploma in Contemporary Fine Arts at a college in St Albans, The Oaklands College. She later proceeded to Minerva Art Academy, in Groningen, the Netherlands where she graduated in July 2019 with Ba in Fine Arts.
Sometimes she likes drawing, but her work involves installation and making carvings using materials she is used to, though she does it on new occasions.
Much of her work may contain many details, be desirable, and shaky with the pattern element of replication and major stress on texture and materials, to conclude a mess of connections and interpretations.
She is fascinated by most of what nature gives, including appearance and surface, configuration and also structure. She interprets this on purpose in many ways with a deducible ghostly nature.
