Before Dennis started carving with a chainsaw he was a forester for some years previous. Dennis’s passion for wildlife and conservation inspired him to take up carving with the saw in which he used salvaged fire wood.
Dennis work has been featured in many magazines in the UK and the US, often in local papers and he has been presented on the 6’o clock news in America.
Dennis has also attended international chain sawing events; in Germany and Pennsylvania in which he represented the UK. Dennis has also Co – organised events on behalf of the UK Chainsaw artists.
Currently Dennis is working in the grounds of the grand and beautiful Knebworth House, Hertfordshire. This is an opportunity for the public to make appointments to view Dennis’s work and see his array of large sculptural seats, figures, totem poles, animals and mythical creatures.
