‘PRIMARILY MY WORK IS 2D AND RESTRICTED TO GESTURAL ABSTRACT OIL PAINTING BUT I WISH TO PURSUE A WIDER RANGE OF 3D/2D CONCEPTS AND EXPERIMENT WITH NON-TRADITIONAL AND TRADITIONAL MATERIALS: . A MORE SCUPTURAL 3D LAYERING TO INCLUDE, THE ENCAUSTIC WAX WORK, PRINTING AND THE USE OF BORROWED MATERIALS

Experience:

‘I have been largely involved in local Community projects

The New Maynard Gallery in to which I am one of the five Trustees, Additionally I became an area coordinator for the Hertfordshire Visual Arts Forum, helping to run and promote the local Welwyn Garden City group during their Open Studios fortnight in September 2001.

Artshed – One of three artists that founded Artshed

Started in November 2003 by three local artists, Artshed has gone from strength to strength. The gallery’s innovative approach to the selling of original art has given many artists the opportunity and independence of exhibiting in a commercial gallery without the extortionate costs normally associated with going it alone. Artshed hosted its first Contemporary Art & Sculpture Fair in May 2004, exhibiting work by over 150 artists including original prints by some leading 20th Century artists including Picasso, Tracey Emin, Howard Hodgkin, Chris Ofilli, Anita Klein amongst others.
