Print Workshops

All workshops are at The Forge Studios in Digswell near Welwyn, in our fully equipped printmaking studio. Our facilities include: a large traditional intaglio press, suitable for printing drypoint, collagraph, photopolymer and monoprint plates; an Albion press for linocut and woodblock printing; and plenty of bench space.

Here are the current workshops running at The Forge. We have other courses coming soon, to include linocut, collagraph and drypoint. Please feel free to give us your suggestions for courses you might be interested in attending, that we could potentially offer.

‘Just a quick email to say “thank you” for a lovely day in your studio. Your style of teaching is relaxed and very informative at the same time. I am going to frame one or two of my prints from the day and the one I bought from you. You have wetted my appetite to get cracking on progressing with art.’
S. Brown
“Just a note to thank you for the workshop on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it and valued being able to see and try out the range of equipment available. I am now going to get myself some oil-based inks and paper from either Intaglio or the place that you mentioned in Knebworth, and will then be in contact to try to arrange a date to come over and do some printing”.
