Abstract collage workshops run by Fellow, Katy Cook, have given participants time to connect with their creative flow and enjoy making art in a fun relaxed environment. Collage might not be a creative practice that people have experienced since school days and so there might be a sense that it’s a bit childish. Katy says, “I think it’s a wonderful way to disconnect from the digital world, to be present and play. Engaging with materials, shape and colour can be a calming practice but with energising results.” Each participant has created something personal, vibrant and unique.
