Sally Tyrie and Pat Grant Selected for Art and Science

Point of View, Sally TyrieDigswell Artist Sally Tyrie and former Print member Pat Grant have had work selected for ‘Art and Science’

Sally’s works titled ‘point of view’ and ‘lost letters’ are from her group of monoprints on book pages made for ‘Wallace 100’, a series of events celebrating the legacy of scientist Alfred Russel Wallace. The group exhibition at Courtyard Arts in Hertford will use selected artwork to examine the relationship between Art and Science.  http://www.courtyardarts.org.uk

Exhibition Dates, 5th – 29th March

To accompany this show there will also be an exhibition and debate at the Hertford Theatre with invited artists Andrew Carnie and Susan Aldworth whose recent work titled ‘The Portrait Anatomised’ at the National Portrait Gallery explored aspects of the ‘Sense of Self’.
