Along with her fellow students from Royal Drawing School, Veronika Peat exhibits in the group show called SATURNALIA in London, 124 Columbia Road, E27RG. Opening night is Thursday, December 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturnalia – celebration inspired by the ancient Roman in honour of Saturn. It evokes a solstice celebration, which is the awakening of the light in the new year. The show is inspired by myths, worldly folklore as well as the sophisticated simplicity that ties human energies to the bonds of nature.

Death Dreams & Desire

We are a collective of five working artists who meet regularly to share and discuss the progress of our work. Through doing so we have identified a number of common themes; memory, loss, re-emergence and return. These are expressed by each of us through a variety of concepts and techniques. Our practices include drawing, painting and printmaking; sculpture; photography and film;
documentation, installation and live art.
