The Open at Turner Contemporary Margate

Digswell fellow Sarah Rooms Heaphy‘s ceramic peice, Coastal Salvage is currently on show at The Turner Contemporary Open exhibition. The 10th Anniversary Open at the gallery is to celebrate and showcase the wealth of artistic talent living, working and training in Kent. The works have been selected by Age Uk Thanet, Canvas & Equality, Margate Pride and The Turner Contemporary Access group. The show runs until 22nd February.  Sarah intially explored her love of art whilst at school at Kent College Canterbury during the 1980’s.

Sarah Rooms Heaphy is also exhibiting at The Pie Factory, Margate with a collective of artists known as the Grand Union 12, showcasing painting, ceramics. photography, illustration and prints; an eclectic mix of fine art and functional work for sale. This exhibition runs in this historic building 7th December.
