Digswell Arts Trust fellow Jane Bottery has been selected for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2022. The exhibition of 134 shortlisted drawings was launched at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London on 28 September and continues until 16 October before going on tour.
The works were selected from over 3,200 worldwide submissions by the selection panel Lucy Byatt, Director of Hospitalfield, Danie Mellor, Artist and Isabel Seligman, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Drawing at the British Museum.
“The works entered by artists for this year’s Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize made for exhilarating viewing” says Danie Mellor, Artist. “The range of drawings exploring both familiar and innovative approaches to image-making presented a welcome challenge in the process of judging. It is abundantly evident that drawing continues to be an exciting and vital medium in contemporary artistic practice.”
Trinity Buoy Wharf, 64 Orchard Place, London E14 OJW, open daily until 7pm.
