Exhibition by Forge Artist Suman Gujral
PV is Tuesday 21st January at 3.30 – 4.30 pm
Suman Gujral is a fine artist based at Digswell Arts Forge Studios and last year was awarded an MA with Distinction from the University.
Her practice is currently focused on the migration crisis and its roots.
‘By the end of 2018, over 70 million people had been displaced by war or persecution. This exhibition was inspired by learning that of these, 13 million were Syrians. ‘
Suman will be showing a series of works examining the destruction of Syria and the journeys of refugees.
